Job Role:

General Helper is responsible for keeping the production area clean and tidy. Perform various cleaning tasks, which include mopping, vacuuming, and sweeping floors, arranging the goods, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

Lift raw materials, finished goods, and packed items, manually or using hoists.
Operate machinery used in the production process or assist machine operators.
When working on a machine, strictly follow the operator’s instructions.
Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected and notify operators of any malfunctions.
Sweep, mop, and remove debris both inside and outside factory premises.
Place products in equipment or on work surface for further processing, inspection or wrapping.
Perform other tasks as assigned by the production in charge.
Remove products, machine attachments or waste material from machines
Perform other tasks as assigned by the production in charge.
Keep machine and machine area neat & clean.
Recalibrate machines at the end of each shift.
Prepare raw materials for all types of processing.
Pack and store materials.

Educational Requirements:;

ITI/ Polytechnic/ Any Diploma is preferred.
Minimum high school education preferred; basic literacy and numeracy required
Prior experience in a production/factory environment is an advantage, but not mandatory
On-the-job training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods
Ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy loads
Manual dexterity for handling tools, materials, and packaging
Comfortable working in a factory/production environment (noise, temperature variations, etc.)

Language Requirements:

English - Mandatory

Works closely with: Machine Operators, Production Supervisors, Quality Control team
