We are looking for a Mason Cum Carpenter – Permanent Contract
Job Details:
- Employment: Full Time.
- Industry: Technical Services / Facility Management.
- Job Type: Long Term – Permanent.
- Job Title: Mason Technician.
- Location: Dubai, UAE.
- Experience Area: Civil Maintenance / Masonry Works / Technical Services (UAE – 2–3 years' experience).
- Education: Technical Diploma / Trade Certification preferred.
Main Job Task – Masonry Maintenance & Civil Works:
- Carry out masonry repairs, block work, plastering, tiling and civil maintenance works across residential and commercial properties.
- Perform wall repairs, crack filling, rendering, waterproofing and surface finishing as required.
- Install and repair ceramic tiles, floor tiles, wall tiles and interlock paving.
- Carry out concrete repair works, floor screeding and minor structural maintenance.
- Repair damaged walls, ceilings, partitions, steps, kerbs and other civil structures.
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections to identify civil defects and maintenance requirements.
- Attend assigned maintenance requests and complete jobs within the specified timeline.
- Support renovation, refurbishment and fit-out projects with masonry and finishing works.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of masonry tools, equipment and construction materials.
- Coordinate with supervisors regarding work progress, site conditions and material requirements.
- Complete job cards, maintenance reports and daily work documentation accurately.
- Conduct site inspections and report structural defects requiring further attention.
- Follow company safety policies, work procedures and quality standards at all times.
- Maintain professional communication with tenants, clients and site representatives.
- Ensure high-quality workmanship and timely completion of all assigned maintenance activities.
- Report major civil defects, material shortages and safety concerns immediately to the department.
